My Story

KB - The story

How it started.
And why it works.

It started with one decision.

100 burpees. Then a 5K run. No plan. No programme. Just curiosity about what would happen.

What happened was - it was brutally hard. And I loved it.

So I came back the next week. Added kettlebells. Added more running. Kept combining things and kept pushing.

Then something unexpected started happening.

Muscle ups I had always struggled with - suddenly felt easy. I tested myself under a barbell for the first time in years and lifted heavier than I ever had. My energy throughout the day was different. My body was changing in ways that hours in the gym had never produced.

That's when it clicked.

I went deep.

Months of studying kettlebell mechanics - burpee conditioning - recovery science - nutrition. Testing everything on myself. Logging every session. Stripping out what didn't work. Keeping what did. Refining - adjusting - going again.

Trial and error. Mostly error at first.

But slowly - a system emerged.

This is that system.

Not a collection of workouts. A complete approach to fitness built around two of the most honest movements in existence - combined with running and real recovery.

No heavy lifting required. No hours in the gym. No complicated programming.

Just progressive - efficient - honest training that builds strength - burns fat - improves your running - and leaves you with energy to actually live your life.

And it goes beyond the gym.

At 34 I play football and I run endlessly - I genuinely cannot remember the last time I was substituted for fitness reasons. That is KETTLEBURPEES.

I am now exploring what it does to other sports - martial arts - judo - kickboxing - and I already know the answer because the pattern is clear. The explosive hip power from KB training transfers to throws and takedowns. The burpee conditioning transfers to rounds. The running transfers to everything.

Fitness should not live inside a gym.

It should make you better at football. Better at sparring. Better at playing with your kids. Better at everything you actually do with your life.

That is what real fitness looks like.

Practical. Transferable. Energising.

And it should be fun - because if it is not fun you will not keep going - and consistency is the only thing that actually works.

The goal was never to build athletes who are only fit inside a gym.

The goal was optimal health. Real fitness. Energy that carries through the whole day.

And most importantly - your time back.

I am still learning. I will always be learning.

But I am at a point where I know this works - and I built this app to share it.

Every rep counts.
